Apple Watch Series 7 announced, with a bigger and more resistant screen

Apple today announced the Apple Watch Series 7, which among other things features a redesigned Retina display with a larger screen area and thinner bezels, making the watch size change very little.

The design also features smoother, rounded corners, which add to the reflective edges of the screen and give it a unique appeal.

The new Apple Watch Series 7 also introduces an optimized user interface for its new larger screen, which offers improved readability and ease of use.

Another major update is the two unique watch faces, Contour and Modular Duo, which Apple says were designed specifically for the new device.

Despite a larger screen, the battery life remains the same as the previous series, 18 hours and its battery charges to 33% in just an hour.

This new smartwatch includes a stronger and more resistant front glass, as well as being the only smartwatch with an IP6X certification for dust resistance and a WR50 rating of waterproof .

As for its watchOS 8 operating system, it includes new types of exercises, a new Mindfulness app, new innovative accessibility features, greater interactivity with Apple Wallet, and greater control for using the Home app. It also makes improvements to the Messages and Photos applications.
